Cambio and ImagineCare win Sweden’s largest RPM procurement

It is now confirmed that Cambio Healthcare Systems, together with platform provider ImagineCare, has won Sweden’s largest procurement of Remote Patient Monitoring to date. The joint procurement includes 13 of Sweden’s 21 regions, where five regions have been decisive in the evaluation process, and another eight are included via option. The first contracts have just been signed.

The procurement has involved an extensive process with several bidders and high-quality requirements, where the assessment of healthcare professionals also played a crucial role. In the allocation decision, it was clear that Cambio submitted the best offer based on the relationship between price and quality.

Remote Patient Monitoring has been identified as one of the most important enablers for the transition to person-centered and integrated care and a tool to address several of the challenges facing healthcare. About the joint procurement

Region Kalmar carried out the procurement in 2023, on behalf of and in consultation with Region Östergötland, Region Kronoberg, Region Västmanland, and Region Värmland. Participating regions via option are Region Blekinge, Region Gävleborg, Region Halland, Region Sörmland, Region Västerbotten, Region Västernorrland, Region Örebro län and Region Norrbotten.
